Scientist 'G' (Rtd.), Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun, India is a world renowned mammalogist with a vast experience of more than three & half decades in the fields of  Wildlife ecology of herbivores & carnivores, molecular ecology, landscape genetics and wildlife forensics. Under his able guidance the wildlife forensic facilities have been developed in different states of India & Indian subcontinent.

Prof. S. K. Gakhar is a pioneer of research in the fields of malaria vector molecular biology and immunology. Being a Biotechnologist he is an educational administrator and has been the Vice-Chancellor of Indira Gandhi University, Rewari, Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani and Sri Sri University Bhubaneswer. He is a visiting Scientist at University of California, Irvine, USA.

He has been distinguished invitees, Chief Guest, Guest of honor in various universities, member of various committees in UGC. He is a member of various statutory bodies viz. Commission Member, Government of Haryana and of many Universities including Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Shri Krishna AYUSH University, Kurukshetra, etc.

Dr. C. M. Seth IFS (Rtd.) is an Eminent Environmentalist & Former PCCF, Jammu & Kashmir, India. He is known for his significant contributions in various fields including wildlife conservation. As a distinguished figure, he played a pivotal role in education, governance, and social welfare. His visionary leadership led to advancements in the region's educational infrastructure, ensuring quality education for generations. Dr. Seth's administrative expertise greatly benefited Jammu and Kashmir, fostering development and progress. He left an indelible mark through his commitment to social welfare initiatives, fostering a sense of community and inclusivity. 

Dr. S Shivaji is currently serving as the Director Emeritus and Senior Scientist at the Prof Brien Holden Eye Research Centre (BHERC) at LVPEI, Hyderabad. Dr. Shivaji was a Director-grade Scientist at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB), Hyderabad, when he got retired in 2012. He has been the Co-founder of the Laboratory for the Conservation of Endangered Species (LaCONES) a facility dedicated to the conservation of endangered animal species.

His research interests include microbial diversity of Antarctica, Arctic, Himalayas, & Stratosphere. He has the distinction of visiting both the Arctic and Antarctic for his research. He is a fellow of the National Academy of Sciences, Indian Academy of Sciences, Telangana Akademi of Sciences, Association of Microbiologists and Zoological Society of Kolkata, India. 

Dr. Shivaji was conferred the Antarctic Award for Excellence in the field of Biological Sciences in 2002, the National Award in Polar Sciences and Cryosphere in 2016, and E K Janaki Ammal award for Research in Microbial Taxonomy (2018) by the Government of India. The Association of Microbiologists of India conferred the first Carl Woese Memorial award, 2014. He received the prestigious Prof L S Ramaswami Award, Prof T C Anand Kumar Award and Prof N R Moudgal Award conferred by the Indian Society for the Study of Reproduction and Fertility for his contributions in the area of conservation biology and reproductive biology in the years 2010, 2013 and 2014, respectively. He was a recipient of the Dr. Subhas Mukherjee Award by the Association of Clinical Embryologists of India, in September 2017, the Prof J V Bhat-Eureka Forbes Award for Excellence in Research in Microbiology, 1992 and the M. S. Malhotra Research Prize for the year 1996 from DRDO, Government of India. He has had several international collaborations in prestigious institutes in Germany, Japan, France and the UK. He has published more than 350 research papers and 2 books.

Dr. V. P. Uniyal, is a Sr. Professor & Scientist-G (Former) at the Wildlife Institute of India, Dehradun, India. He is a leading Entomologist in India & at International level. A few of his research fields are Ecology and systematic of insects, bioindicators, biodiversity surveys, ecological monitoring in western Himalayan Protected Areas. He is a member of many National and International Socities including a member of the prestegious Royal Entomological Society, London. He has successfully completed many research projects, published a countless research papers and guided many PhD students.

Dr. K. Sankar is currently associated with the  

  Advanced Institute for Wildlife Conservation (AIWC), Tamil Nadu, India. He has been the Director of 

Salim Ali Centre for Ornithology and Natural History (SACON), Ministry of Environment, Forests & Climate Change (MoEFCC),  Government of India, New Delhi. Dr. K. Sankar was the Former Senior Professor at the Wildlife Institute of India (WII), Dehradun, India before joining the SACON. At WII he has spent more than thirty years doing research on tigers, leopards, and many ungulate and primate species. Dr. Sankar has played a key role in the historic reintroduction of tigers in Sariska Tiger Reserve and gaur reintroduction in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve in India.

Professor K K Sharma is a leading Herpetologist in India & at International level. A former Vice Chancellor, Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati University Ajmer, Rajasthan India. A pioneer of sonotaxonomy for taxonomic identification of animals and their monitoring based on sound. He is the founder of "Mission Snake Bite Death Free India" (www. missionsnakebitedeathfreeindia.com) a National level social media group on Whatsapp started about 3 years ago by him, in view to cause reduction in snake bite death in India.

Professor N K Tripathi is the Ex. Dean, Faculty of Life Sciences & HOD, Department of Zoology at the Central University of Jammu, Samba, UT of Jammu & Kashmir, India. His area of research Cell Biology & Cytogenetics. There are many research papers & Books to his credit.  He has supervised many PhD students and is a member of numerous National & International Scientific Societies viz. Society of Cytologists and Geneticists, India, Indian Society of Cell Biology, All India Congress of Cytology and Genetics, National Academy of Sciences, Allahabad, India, Indian Science Congress Association, All India Congress of Zoology, Association of Progressive Zoologists of India & WWF, India.

Dr. Satish Kumar Sharma has served in various capacities in the Rajasthan Forest Department for more than thirty-six years. He retired as an Assistant Conservator of Forests in 2016. Currently, he is serving as a consultant with many nature conservation NGOs in different states of the country.

Dr. Sharma has a vast experience in forest and wildlife management, forest and grassland restoration, soil and water conservation, zoo management, creation of herbal and botanical gardens etc. He is a lifetime member of many scientific and research organizations and now also serving himself directly or indirectly as a faculty of different universities and training organizations.

Dr. Sharma was the topper at Ranger Training at Coimbatore in 1985. Dr. Sharma is a leading expert on the Flora and Fauna of the state of Rajasthan. He has done double PhDs the first on Vivo birds and the second on plant and animal diversity of Phulwari Wildlife Sanctuary and their relation with the tribals.

He has published more than 650 research papers and popular research articles in National and International journals. He has written 11 books and is a recipient of many prestigious awards and fellowships, some of which are

During his tenure at Forest Department, he was awarded by the Government of Rajasthan several times.
